01Who we are

This policy explains how dpuzzles handles information when you use SubTrail, our subscription-tracking app. It covers the mobile app and its supporting account, storage and reminder services. Contact us at info@dpuzzles.com for privacy questions.

02Information you provide

Account information includes your email address, account identifier, display name if provided, and sign-in provider. Email/password authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. Google or Apple sign-in provides the information you authorize, such as an email address and name; Apple may provide a private relay address.

We store the subscription details you enter: names, categories, amounts, currencies, billing cycles, dates, trials, payment/cancellation status and notes. We also store workspace names and preferences, budgets, reminder settings, language choices and notification history. Do not put passwords, card numbers or sensitive information in notes.

03Device and service information

Firebase and our hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, app or installation identifiers, authentication and diagnostic logs, and device messaging tokens needed to operate and protect the service. A messaging token connects your device to reminders. Your device may cache account data and store local preferences.

04How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, synchronize your records, calculate subscription summaries and currency estimates, deliver reminders, save preferences, answer support requests and maintain security. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing relies on providing the service you request, legitimate interests in secure operation and support, consent for optional permissions where required, or legal obligations.

05Service providers and sharing

We use Google Firebase for authentication, Cloud Firestore storage, Cloud Functions processing and Cloud Messaging notifications, with Apple/Google sign-in where chosen. These providers process information needed for those functions under their applicable terms. ExchangeRate-API supplies currency rates. A direct rate request from your device can expose your IP address and request metadata to that provider; we do not send it your subscription records.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. The current app does not integrate advertising SDKs. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate privacy protections. Information you deliberately export or share is provided to the destination you choose.

06Notifications and device lock

You can manage reminders in SubTrail and notification permissions in device settings. Notifications may show subscription names, amounts or dates on your lock screen, depending on device settings. Optional app locking uses your operating system’s biometric or device-credential check. We do not receive or store your fingerprint, face template or device passcode.

07Storage, retention and security

Account data is stored using Firebase cloud services and may also be cached on your device. Providers may process information outside your country under their applicable data-protection arrangements. We retain account records while needed to provide the service or fulfill legal and security purposes. After deletion, limited records may remain where legally required or necessary for security; provider backups and logs follow their own retention cycles. We do not promise immediate removal from every backup.

We use access controls and provider security measures to protect information. No network, storage system or device is completely secure. Keep your sign-in credentials private, protect your device and take care when sharing exported files.

08Delete your account and data

In SubTrail, open Settings → Profile → Delete account and complete the sign-in confirmation. This removes your account and associated active app records, including workspaces, subscriptions, categories, preferences and notification history. Deleting the app alone does not delete your cloud account. Export anything you want to keep first; shared export copies are outside our control.

If you cannot access the app, request deletion by emailing info@dpuzzles.com with the subject “SubTrail account deletion” from your registered email address, or identify the account you need help with. We may ask for reasonable ownership verification. Never send us your password. We handle verified requests under applicable law; the retention exceptions above may apply.

09Your choices and rights

You can edit your records, manage language and reminder settings, export subscription data as CSV, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, erase or receive your personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact info@dpuzzles.com to exercise applicable rights. Withdrawing optional permissions does not undo earlier lawful processing.

10Children’s privacy

SubTrail is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without the consent required by applicable law, contact info@dpuzzles.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app or our practices change. We publish the revised policy here with an updated date and provide additional notice where required. For privacy, access or deletion requests, contact dpuzzles at info@dpuzzles.com.
